Short Rib Stroganoff review by Tomcapone
This was our first time at the Braised Onions. We had the Short Rib Stroganoff, onion soup and onion fritters with an Expresso/Pineapple upside down Martinis-all were excellent!! Our waitress Cheri was attentive and knowledgeable-thank you for making our experience wonderful!!

My husband and I went to the Braised Onion for my birthday/Valentine's Day celebration. We had made a reservation and were seated right away.. Our waiter was very attentive and took our drink order right away. After looking over the menu we decided to order the same meal. The steak we ordered medium well was cooked to perfection and Absolutely the most delicious steak I have eaten. I cannot eat fat and this steak dinner was so good. Nice lean meat, a baked potato and veggies so good. Love Braised Onion. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I had a romantic date night here to celebrate my birthday. Very intimate atmosphere. Excellent waiter! Amazing food! Love the Pow Pow shrimp! Their short rib stroganoff is my new favorite dish that I can't wait to have again! And we finished the night with chocolate martinis.

My family had a birthday meal as our first visit to the braised onion. Sherry was wonderful with service and took care of all 5 of us like we were her family. Food was great and we highly recommend this restaurant. Loved the atmosphere and the menu. Thank you. The Omel family

Had the meatloaf with an extra side of the risotto. This place is amazing. My coworker and I always stop by when we're in Ocala. If you're within an hour of this place you need to try it. Staff is amazing , Alex is an mvp.

One of the many items I had for dinner while having a girls night out. I did the French onion soup The daily special - prime rib tacos An ice cream flight (vanilla, lemon blueberry and Coffee kahlua) And a white chocolate espresso martini. First time going and I will be back again! Tacos were very flavorful and the meat was well cooked French onion soup was superb. I've had French onion in the French quarter and this rivaled New Orleans cuisine. By far my favorite was the lemon blueberry ice cream. I'm kicking myself for not buying a pint!

Absolutely superb. Went with a friend to celebrate her birthday today. Everything was great.. service, cocktail (cosmo), onion soup, coconut shrimp... perfect lunch. We each took a slice of coconut cream pie home ... had to try it too! Can't wait to come again.
